Next 25th of November AIRUSE team will present an overview and preliminary results of AIRUSE at the Final Conference of the LIFE+ PM3 project, in Cyprus.
The LIFE+ Project PM3: Particulate Monitoring, Modelling, Management is coordinated by the Department of Labour Inspection and co-funded by LIFE+ Environment Policy & Governance. The project aimed at the PM10 source apportionment and the identification of “natural” contributions. The ultimate objective was to provide inputs for the design of a dust management plan to improve compliance to EC Directives and minimise impacts to human health and environment.
The LIFE+ Project PM3 Final Conference will be held in Nicosia (Cyprus) on 25th November 2013, and organized by the Air Quality Section of the Department of Labour Inspection of Cyprus. The AIRUSE project representative, Fulvio Amato, will present an overview and preliminary results of AIRUSE LIFE+ project, mainly regarding the measures evaluated to mitigate dust resuspension in cities.
The objective is to share and disseminate the knowledge acquired on dust management plan and source contributions, in the framework of the two LIFE+ projects.
